Disclosure regarding consumer reports
If you continue, Koser Group Holdings may obtain a consumer report about you for the purpose of evaluating your rental application. The report will be prepared by our screening provider (named before any report is ordered), a consumer reporting agency, and may include credit history and eviction (court) records.
If we deny your application or require a co-signer or higher deposit based in whole or in part on the report, we will tell you in writing, give you the name, address, and phone number of the agency, and explain your right under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act to get a free copy of the report within 60 days and to dispute anything inaccurate or incomplete with the agency.
Illinois notes. If you already have a recent tenant screening report, ask the leasing office whether it can be used. For leases entered into on or after January 1, 2027, Illinois caps rental application fees, including background checks, at $50 (765 ILCS 705/35). Our fee is $50 per adult applicant.
